My trusty Nokia finally died last week, so on my daughters recomendation got myself an Iphone (maybe I shoulda waited for the new one to come out  the one thats been in the news lately), anyway messed around with the on phone camera and Chase Jarvis's Best Camera  app. OK, not the best picture in the world but kinda refreshing trying to shoot with just your phone instead of your wiz bang DSLR...

actually , a dead tree at the mt annan botanical garden, used to highlight(is why they painted it blue, so you can see it from the road) how the native fauna make use of dead trees for shelter etc.
